petaling street me likey!

i just came back from KL during the weekend with my cousin's family for her graduation ceremony. and i bought LOADSSSSS of stuff! but there was some stuff dat i wanted to buy at johor but we din have time to go =(( saddd...

aniwae i bought the bulk of my treasures at petaling street at KL which is situated at the chinatown of KL. its a street market open from about 4.30 in the afternoon till about 10.30pm. its the KL's equivalent to our bugis street but there is a HUGE difference. there, you can use ure haggling powers to the max and thus u can lower the price to about a third of the original price! here, you can try to lower but the price hardly fluctuates. the street market sells alot of stuff mainly, imitation goods which i must admit is VERY VERY close to the real thing. i mean its not like certain goods where adidas is spelled adidos or some shit like that. the details are near perfect and the quality is good considering its an imitation good =) and best of all the price is CHEAP.

so its no wonder, me being the kiasu singaporean i am, i bought a nike track shoes and an adidas shoe for casual wear. i also bought the collector's edition jacket where its a black jacket with gold stripes! =))) which i noe feng wants. im so evil riiite? heh heh. i also bought a red ralph lauren polo t shirt. i have this sudden affinity for polo tees. hmmm.. i wonder why?

aniwae, i wanted to get jeans but the cutting wasnt dat great and the price was quite steep too. we din have much time to explore around cause we went there very late at about 9 plus. so was quite dissapointed at the haul. all throughout the journey home, my cousins joked dat this is my heaven and he hasnt seen me smile so much ever. hahahhaaha! watever lah.

then the next two days we did abit of shopping at the mid valley mega mall which was juz seperated by a door from the Boulevard Hotel which is the hotel i was staying in =) yay. hahahah! but the second day i had flu in the morning and i wasnt in a very yippee mood and at night it erupted into a full blown fever and we forgot to bring panadol. so we had to ask from my auntie =)

we tried alot of the local food there but nothing reli fantastic cause as my cousins say im an ang moh child, one who doesnt eat rice. hahahah! =) so the only dish dat reli tempted my tastebuds was the fettucini in cream sauce. it was super super nice. ahhhh...

at the last day, as we were driving home. my cousin had a punctured tyre so we spent a good hour on fixing the spare tyre on which was about 40% pumped with air. so went to the nearest petrol kiosk and pumped the tyres while the rest went for toilet break. my god. the toilet was filthy! bleah bleah =((( i cant stand their toilets esp the ones in the petrol kiosk.eeeee *shiver*

we spent alot of time stopping at the rest stations cause certain members of my extended family have a weak bladder so we spent alot of time in the loos and not on the road. so it wasnt surprising dat we couldnt go to johor where i wanted to get my computer game and my CSI =((( damn sad...

dats why all in all im happy but not feeling very WOW! cause i din get wat i reli reli wanted from malaysia. haix. but its okay lah i shall be contented with wat i have =) i love my stuff man!! new clothes and and a new BAJU KURUNG for hari raya!! yipee!!

throughout the moments, u keep on appearing in my mind. i have no clue why i keep on thinking of you... but i cant deny dat i dont want to.
